Webit is the new web touch-editing app for iPhone!
This m-learning application was made as a degree’s final project for "La Salle campus of Engineering and Architecture (URL)", Barcelona, and allows you to edit the HTML content and presentation of a webpage with only touching the different elements, no programming is required.
Webit recognises more than 80 HTML and HTML5 tags, and allows the user to:
- Edit text content
- Edit styles
- Edit images via album, camera or URL
- Edit position
- Edit size
- Edit body
You can also add new elements and delete them, making Webit a full HTML editor.
In addition, it offers 5 extra features:
- Load tutorial: it loads a tutorial, which you can follow in order to learn how to use Webit.
- Original mode: it shows the original web selected for the editing, so that you can clearly see the executed changes.
- Save Mode/Load file: it allows you to save the source code, to load it later and keep on working on it.
(Only in this version): Once saved, you can upload the code in your computer and on internet when you connect the device to iTunes, so that your webpage can be seen from your phone just like you edited it.
- Design Mode (only in this version): it shows the basic information of a design document:
+ Fonts: it shows all the text fonts used in the page.
+ Images: it shows all the images used in the page.
+ Color Relationships: it allows you to choose between 2 and 4 colors from the web and shows its hexadecimal code, its tone value, brightness and saturation, and the color relationships amongst them.
